From the moment Marvin came into our lives, he was curious and looking for an adventure. He loves to discover new places and friends.

When Marvin was small, he was a small puff of black and white fur. Within that puff, was a ferocious personality waiting to explore. We already had two large dogs, a border collie, Buzz and a chocolate lab, Hibou. Of course Marvin’s new brothers were considerably larger than him and that didn’t stop Marvin from commanding his space. He even dared to take Buzz’s dog bone away, even though he was too small to lift it!

Marvin discovered his own independence while sharing his indoor adventures with his older sister, Casper the cat. He enjoyed many hours of romping and playing with Casper. (Not that Casper would admit that she would play with a dog.)

It was the curiosity of Marvin that inspired MarvinDiscovers. His first book, Marvin Discovers Snow was created while my family and I watched Marvin, sitting on my bed, looking out the window as the large snowflakes fell from the sky. His little head bobbed up and down as he followed each flake fall. It was an amazing moment that I had to share with all children.

Marvin’s up and coming discoveries will include, the beach, the boogieman, the farm and camping. We have many more titles in mind and it is Marvin’s hope that you will enjoy his discoveries with your family.
